Oh Katie. My heart just aches for you. What a hard thing to have to go through. You are such a strong, amazing, woman of faith! Thank you for sharing your story. It just shows how fragile life is and how you never know when it can end. Porter must have been so perfect to not have to endure life's trials here on earth. My heart also aches for you. I haven't suffered from infertility, but I have had 3 pregnancy losses.
We had our sweet baby boy Nicholas, stillborn on May 8, 2002. Then we miscarried a baby at 12 weeks in December 2002. And just 3 months ago, today, on February 23, we lost Moroni at 17 weeks.
I see you have the gospel in your life. That is on the main thing that has kept me afloat through my trials! That and my sweet husband! I started a new project that has really helped me with losing Moroni. I think Mel gave you the link, but if you are interested, you can see what I am doing.
Oh my goodness, sweetie. You are simply amazing. I can't even imagine the sea of emotions you have been swimming in for the past two years. My heart just broke when I read the part about your dad doing the ultrasound...There are no words that could properly express the devastation of hearing that kind of news.
What a blessing the gospel is! To know that your sweet, perfect little boy is in heaven waiting for you! I hope you know how so very loved you are!
